SPEAKER BIO: Paul Fisher

Paul E. Fisher, a real estate attorney and head of real estate at McGuireWoods, is a member of the Board of Directors of The Heartland Institute, an independent, nonprofit research center founded in 1984 and headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Fisher has extensive experience in the areas of construction finance, securitized lending, entertainment law, banking industry regulation, and commercial real estate development. He has worked extensively on the deregulation of the banking industry and the relationship between capital and debt in real estate finance. Fisher has also spoken before many professional groups on the role of legal opinion in complex commercial real estate transactions.
