Robin Knox joined The Heartland Institute in January 2008 as a receptionist. In mid-April she was named Heartland's government relations administrative assistant and liaison to Consumers for Health Care Choices (CHCC).

Robin attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and later received a Bachelor's of Arts degree in psychology from Chicago State University. She is an active member of the Chicago State University Alumni Association.

Prior to joining Heartland, Robin worked in research at the University of Chicago Hospital. She acted as a data entry clerk/administrative assistant with the CHIP and NIMH bipolar genetics study.

She currently lives in Chicago and enjoys volunteering in her community with friends and family.
