Bjorn Lomborg is director of the Copenhagen Consensus Centre, adjunct professor at the Copenhagen Business School, and former director of the Environmental Assessment Institute in Copenhagen. He is author of the best-selling The Skeptical Environmentalist and Cool It: The Skeptical Environmentalist's Guide to Global Warming, where he challenges our understanding of the environment and points out how we need to focus our attention on the most important problems first. He was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine in 2004 and one of the "50 people who could save the planet" by the UK Guardian in 2008.
