I am a resident of Arlington County, Virginia, which is currently involved in a public debate over whether to fund a new stadium to house the Montreal Expos should they relocate to Northern Virginia.

I found a wealth of material on the economics of stadiums (“stadia”?) on your Web site, and for that I thank you. I wish you continued success in your good work in elevating the terms of public debate beyond the screaming matches that pass for politics. I used to work for a Member of Congress whose mantra was, “Without data you’re just another opinion.”
