Congratulations on the good work you're doing through The New Coalition and The Heartland Institute.

Although the fruits of your efforts can be appreciated by any American, you're helping to make important inroads into a growing black audience. And that is impressive.

Some years ago, when you offered a general description of plans to reach blacks right in the heart of PUSH-Jackson country, no less, I must admit it did not seem feasible. But your persistence has certainly been worthwhile, and now your outreach appears to be increasingly national. The times, indeed, are changing.
