This year's Emerging Issues Forum takes place at the historic University Club of Chicago, located at 76 East Monroe Street, at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Monroe.

Established in 1887 by university graduates who wanted a special place where they could enjoy intellectual pursuits, the University Club of Chicago was founded for the purpose of fostering an appreciation of literature and the arts. It began rather modestly, when a small group of college alumni formed the founding charter. Their goal was a simple one. To create an environment in which excellence thrives. To develop a place where they, their guests, and all future members could draw upon the sustaining values of a common educational experience. Through the generations this magnificent, 12-story structure has provided a stimulating atmosphere where members conduct business, gather socially, and expand culturally.

We'll be meeting in beautiful Cathedral Hall on the ninth floor (at right), with stunning (but not too distracting?) views of the lakefront.

Please note the University Club requires collared shirts for men. No denim, t-shirts, gym shoes, or athletic wear!
