Quantcast

Crispus Attucks

More than 70 scientists, economists, and climate experts with a skeptical view of climate change alarmism will gather in New York City March 8-10, 2009 to discuss why they believe the global warming crisis has been canceled--and whether a crisis ever really existed in first place. This podcast offers listeners an audio preview by many of the presenters of their remarks.

Christopher Essex, a full professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Western Ontario and former director of its Theoretical Physics Program, is an expert on climate models--and he's doubtful about their usefulness. They are far from infallible, often lead to confusion among the public, and can't be subjected to engineering techniques to change their outcomes. His title: "Climate change and the laughter of the gods."
