The Heartland Institute's national monthly outreach publication for advocates of less government interference in, and more market-driven approaches to, information technology and telecom policy.
The Heartland Institute launched a new monthly newsletter, IT Update, in November. The inaugural issue was mailed to approximately 2,600 state elected officials, public utility commissioners, and Heartland donors and friends who have expressed an interest in our work on digital economy and information technology issues.
The first issue of IT Update includes articles by Michael K. Powell, chairman of the Federal Communications Commission; Alfred E. Kahn, professor emeritus at Cornell University and former chairman of the New York Public Service Commission; Solveig Singleton, a lawyer and senior analyst with the Competitive Enterprise Institute’s Project for Technology & Innovation; and Sonia Arrison, director of technology studies at the Pacific Research Institute.
