Matt D'Alesio is the Major Gifts Officer at The Heartland Institute.

Prior to Heartland, Matt was an Account Executive for Paychex in which he worked with prospects and clients managing HR software sales. Previous to that, Matt served as National Field Director at Young Americans for Liberty where he organized thousands of free market student activism events across the country and was a main stage trainer at YAL's National Conventions. Matt also served as the Office Manager for Rand Paul's 2016 Presidential Campaign in Des Moines, Iowa. 

He is originally from Westchester, New York but currently resides in Northern Virginia. He is (sadly) a passionate New York Jets fan and enjoys spending his weekends on the golf course with friends. Matt is very passionate about free markets and small government which makes Heartland a perfect fit.
