Teresa Mull is a policy advisor for education at The Heartland Institute.
From 2016 to 2018, Mull was managing editor of School Reform News and a research fellow at The Heartland Institute.
Mull’s appreciation for quality education came while she was a student at the University of Dallas, studying the school's Core Curriculum. She earned a bachelor's degree in comparative literature while also benefiting from the university's required courses in science, math, art, philosophy, and politics.
Mull brings to Heartland a background in conservative journalism. She was an editorial intern at the American Spectator, as well as for the Laura Ingraham Radio Show, and was the managing editor of Human Events. She has worked as a general assignment reporter for two newspapers. Her writing has been published by The Federalist, Virginia Living, The Week, Rare.us, Acculturated, Doublethink, and other media outlets.
Mull currently resides in Teton Valley, Idaho.
