The Heartland Institute’s Twenty-Second Anniversary Benefit Dinner, taking place on Thursday, October 5 in the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Chicago Hotel, will focus on the theme “Skepticism, Faith, and Freedom.”

How can we defend the classical liberal ideals of individual freedom, limited government, and the rule of law in the face of rising moral skepticism in America and around the world? And how do we persuade people of religious faith to embrace classical liberalism?

To resolve these difficult challenges we have asked two of the country’s leading authorities on freedom to come to Chicago and share their views with us:

  • Richard A. Epstein is the James Parker Hall Distinguished Service Professor of Law at the University of Chicago.
  • Fr. Robert A. Sirico is co-founder and president of the Acton Institute.

Epstein and Sirico are two of the best-known and most influential libertarian intellectuals in America today. They are powerful and entertaining public speakers and nationally recognized authorities on their subjects. By pairing them on this program we will give our guests an extraordinary look at issues and concerns on the frontiers of the freedom movement.

More than 500 people attended last year’s event! Please plan to join us for an evening of entertaining speakers, great food, and good friends.

Reserved tables as well as individual tickets are available. See the Web site for details ... and we'll see you there!
