A Health Care Agenda for America’s Millennials
Millennials’ health insurance challenges were made worse by the passage of Obamacare in 2010. Charlie Katebi will discuss the problems with the Affordable Care Act – and the Republicans’ replacement bill and offer solutions.
America’s health care system is rigged against Millennials. Under Obamacare, young people face higher costs, fewer choices, and less access than ever before. It’s time lawmakers face the health care crisis that threatens America’s youth. Charlie Katebi, fellow in health care reform at the Millennial Policy Center, will discuss “Revitalizing Healthcare in America,” a recent policy paper he coauthored that shows how policymakers can make health care products and services more affordable, accessible, and patient-centered for young adults and citizens of all ages.
With a repeal and replacement of the Affordable Care Act on the horizon and the ongoing debate about health care in America, this evening event in the Andrew Breitbart Freedom Center should be attended by everyone who wants to be informed about our current health care mess and how to clean it up.
