Heartland Women’s Book Club

Join a group of friendly and bright women this summer to read, learn, and share both classic and contemporary literature on public policy, political philosophy, current events, and more!

Saturday
August 19, 2017
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
The Heartland Institute
3939 N. Wilke Road
Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004

The Heartland Institute is pleased to announce its latest installment of the Heartland Women’s Book Club series. The Heartland Institute is dedicated to informing the public on a wide variety of public policy issues. Milton Friedman’s classic free-market economic text Capitalism and Freedom will be discussed and debated at our next book club meeting, which will be held on Saturday, August 19, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Heartland Institute is home to an expansive collection of conservative books and research. The Michael Parry Mazur Memorial Library includes over 14,000 books, journals, and unique texts on a wide array of political, economic, and social topics. We encourage all local women interested in any of these areas to join us! Please contact Heartland Librarian Joe Davis at librarian@heartland.org to learn more about our collection.
