Ban Plastic Bags? Get Out of Here!

December 26, 2019

Senior Fellow H. Sterling Burnett appeared as a guest on The John Steigerwald Show in Pittsburgh to discuss a recent plastic bag ban and why it is unnecessary to hamper businesses with such regulation.

Last week, Senior Fellow H. Sterling Burnett was a guest on The John Steigerwald Show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to discuss a recent plastic ban bag. The ban is a silly effort to attempt to impact wasteful plastic in the world, yet there are so many uses for them and disadvantages to paper that it seems silly to do so. Municipalities should let businesses themselves decide if they would like to keep plastic out of the store, not regulate from the top down.
