Big Green Lobbying in Canada (Guest: Robert Lyman)

May 16, 2019

Big Green environmental non-profit organizations have a large impact on Canadian energy policy and the source of their funding and the amount they spend on partisan government lobbying has been hidden for far too long. Its time for transparency.

Robert Lyman discuses a series of studies he wrote for the Friends of Science Society which examine and expose the way big green environmental lobbying groups are working hand in hand with deep state government bureaucrats to impose restrictions limits on fossil fuel development and use. They also boost the fortunes of politically connected wind and solar companies all at the expense of Canadian taxpayers and the country's economic and energy security. Funded in part by big green environmental groups in the United States Canada's environmental lobby has a hidden out-sized influence on energy development.
