California Expands Telemedicine in Medi-Cal (Guest: Robert Graboyes)

California will now pay telemedicine providers equally to providers in physical settings in its Medicaid program. The move should address the provider shortage for Medi-Cal and deliver health care.

California covers 13.5 million people in its Medicaid program . InAugust, the state announced it would offer providers pay parity for telemedicine visits.  Robert Graboyes discusses how this can improve the provider shortage, save money and deliver better health care.
