Can Georgia’s Health Care System be Saved? (Guest: Kyle Wingfield)

December 5, 2018

Kyle Wingfield is quickly becoming a rising star in state-based health care initiatives at a time when the Trump administration is embracing federalism. Wingfield talks to Lee about why his organization, the Georgia Public Policy Foundation, is breaking new ground in health care as they plan ahead now that the Medicaid expansion is off the table. Wingfield talks block grants, short-term plans, and the innovation waiver concepts released by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services last week.
