Climate Change Adaptation Is the Only Moral Choice (Guest: Tom Harris)

September 22, 2020

Climate change is happening, and will continue to happen, regardless of what policies governments adopt. Science shows to reduce the harm from climate change, resources should be devoted to adaptive programs and technologies.

Climate change is happening and will continue to happen regardless of what policies governments adopt. Science shows to reduce the harm from climate change, resources should be devoted to adaptive programs and technologies. Spending billions of dollars on policies that will have no effect on climate while people are struggling with daily life today is immoral. Allowing developing countries to use fossil fuels to power economic growth is a far better suite of "climate policies" than restricting carbon emissions. Adaptation will make life better for more people now and in the future.
