Cristo Rey Network: Combining Academics and Work Experience

Clement V. Martin shares the vision of the Cristo Rey Network, which integrates "academics, work experience, and extracurricular activities to lead lives of integrity, faith, and servant leadership for the greater glory of God."

Clement V. Martin, president of Christ the King Jesuit College Preparatory School, joins the show to discuss the vision of the Cristo Rey Network, of which Christ the King is a member. Cristo Rey students gain work experience while earning a high school diploma. Christ the King serves students in Chicago's West Side and boasts a 100 percent college acceptance rate. Martin shares the success story of his school and other schools that have adopted the popular Cristo Rey model.
