David Guldenschuh discusses his role in the Article V movement and reacts to the Arizona Planning Convention

As a leader of the nationwide Article V movement, Guldenschuh shares his story on the importance of Article V and how others can get involved.

David Guldenschuh is an attorney in Rome, Georgia and Heartland Policy Advisor for the Center for Constitutional Reform. As a leader of the nationwide Article V movement, Guldenschuh shares his story on the importance of Article V and how others can get involved. He also expresses his excitement about the Arizona Planning Convention and was recently named one of the first commissioners in Georgia to the historic convention.  

Guldenschuh is the publisher of a monthly report, Article V Convention Legislative Progress Report, a national tracker of all Article V legislation in the country. He is the former Legislative Liaison Director for the Convention of States (CoS) Project where in 2014 he led Georgia to become the first state in the United States to pass the CoS Article V application for a convention of states. Guldenschuh is currently a President of the Balanced Budget Amendment Foundation and serves as special counsel to the Balanced Budget Amendment Task Force.

Guldenschuh has established working relationships with several groups and individuals working with the Article V movement. In the podcast, he offers a historical review of the origins of Article V and how during today’s times reforming the U.S. constitution is more crucial than it has ever been. Guldenschuh urges all states to participate in the Arizona Planning Convention taking place in Phoenix, Arizona on September 12, 2017. This convention is the first of its kind in 150 years and David Guldenschuh will play an intricate role as he represents Georgia in the movement.
