E. Calvin Beisner: Winning the War on Poverty by Winning the Climate War

April 26, 2017

Only by winning he messaging battle on climate change can we truly change the fortunes of the world's poorest people and allow them to develop the energy sources needed to thrive as God intended.

Cal Beisner, founder of the Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation, argues the policies pushed by climate alarmists to fight purported global warming would install an insurmountable barrier to fossil fuel use, among the most necessary components to dragging the worlds poor out of poverty and ending preventable premature deaths, disease, and starvation.

Cal notes, the science does not support overblown fears of harms from climate change, but climate realists are in someways losing the climate war because journalists have abandoned the standard of objective reporting of facts -- because accurate science reporting is complex -- in favor of simplistic advocacy. Most environmental journalists are activists first, journalists a distant second.
