President Donald Trump unveiled a new drug-pricing plan in May 2018. The plan seeks to lower the cost of prescription drugs by implementing free-market solutions to the U.S. drug-pricing regime. Further, Trump’s plan aims to curb the influence of unfair negotiating practices overseas.
