Fossil Fuels Are Good for People and the Environment (Guest: Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry)

August 28, 2018

Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry says fossil fuels have been a boon for humankind, a blessing to the U.S. economy, and a benefit to the environment.

Affordable, reliable energy is the cornerstone for human prosperity and the foundation of the U.S. economy. Fossil fuels are the best source of this energy. Oil, gas, and coal production creates thousands of well-paid middle class jobs, and literally keeps our lights on, our transportation systems working and our emergency services and hospitals providing needed services. A forced switch to renewable energy sources would set our economy back, make life less secure, and damage the environment.
