R Street Director of Commercial Freedom Jarrett Dieterle joins the show to discuss regulations on beer, wine and spirits.

Jarrett Dieterle is Director of Commercial Freedom and a Senior Fellow at R Street Institute. Jarrett researches and writes on regulatory affairs, alcohol policy, occupational licensing and other commercial freedom issues. Jarrett and Heartland’s State Government Relations Manager Lindsey Stroud discuss his work, how the 21st amendment allowed states to regulate alcohol and the systems in place (three tier versus state controlled), Tennessee Wine & Spirits v. Blair and the case’s implications on what we can expect from states in 2019.
