Heartland takes COP24 by Storm, Partners with Solidarity (Guests: James Taylor and Jim Lakely)

December 12, 2018

The Heartland Institute’s contingent to the COP-24, the United Nations’ latest global warming conference, report on what they saw and accomplished in Poland.

Heartland Senior Fellow James Taylor and Director of Communications Jim Lakely report on their mission to bring climate realism to Europe last week. Taylor participated in a conference with the European Institute for Climate and Energy (EIKE) in Munich, then met up with Lakely and Heartland’s contingent of climate scientists and policy experts to confront the UN’s rampant climate alarmism at COP24 in Poland. The highlight of the trip was a visit with Solidarity that resulted in a joint statement submitted to COP24 demanding “the restoration of the scientific method and the dismissal of ideological dogma at the United Nations.”
