How Obama's School Disciplinary Regulations Made Everything Worse (Guest: Natalie Goodnow)

February 21, 2018

An Obama era mandate that altered the way schools can utilize disciplinary action has hurt the students, schools, and education as a whole.

Natalie Goodnow, a research fellow at the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, joins the show to discuss how the Obama era one-size-fits-all approach to school discipline negatively affects Wisconsin students. Goodnow discusses how federal intervention does not, for the most part, lead to better outcomes, and what parents, lawmakers, and constituents can do to avoid the repercussions of government overreach.
