They talk about the importance of the Founders to Lincoln’s moral and political thought, how the Declaration of Independence was Lincoln’s political lodestar, how Lincoln saw the Constitution framing the ideals of the Declaration, and how there has been no better defender of the Founders and the United States than Honest Abe.
