Ill Literacy, Episode XXV: Time Between (Guest: Chris Hillman)
In Episode XXV of Ill Literacy, Tim Benson talks with Chris Hillman about his new book "Time Between: My Life as a Byrd, Burrito Brother, and Beyond."

Heartland’s Tim Benson is joined by music legend Chris Hillman to discuss his new book, Time Between: My Life as a Byrd, Burrito Brother, and Beyond. They chat about Chris’ idyllic upbringing in ‘50’s California, his love of bluegrass and country music, and his storied career in the Byrds. They also discuss his friendship with Gram Parsons and their partnership in the pioneering Flying Burrito Brothers, his work with Stephen Stills in Manassas, the Desert Rose Band, and other musical ventures. Most importantly, they talk about redemption, grace, and how to pick yourself back up from failure and shrug off adversity.
