In The Tank – Game of Thrones Libertarian Fan-Fiction, the "Good Ending"

August 25, 2017

Host Donald Kendal, Director of Communications Jim Lakely, Executive Editor Justin Haskins and Andy Singer craft a "fan-fiction" scenario where our Game of Thrones protagonists destroy the wheel and form Westeros' first Constitutional Republic.

As we approach the final episodes of the hugely popular HBO series Game of Thrones, questions about how the show will ultimately end naturally arise. Will the White Walkers overtake Westeros? Will Daenerys claim the Iron Throne? Will the wheel of power continue to turn, crushing the rich and poor of Westeros alike?

What if we had a "good ending?"

In this special episode of the In The Tank Podcast, host Donald Kendal, Director of Communications Jim Lakely, Executive Editor Justin Haskins and Intern Andy Singer craft a "fan-fiction" scenario where our Game of Thrones protagonists destroy the wheel and form Westeros' first Constitutional Republic.

Kendal, Lakely, Haskins and Singer explore a number of policies and topics that would be discussed in a hypothetical constitutional convention at King's Landing. Some of these topics include: How will this new form of government operate? What roles would the government play? Will there be a national army? How will the justice system function? and many, many more.
