Jim Lakely: Heartland's 12th International Conference on Climate Change

February 6, 2017

The conference aims to educate members of the new Trump administration concerning the costs of climate policies pursued by the Obama administration, and the science they ignored showing the world does not face a human caused climate crisis..

Jim Lakely, director of communications with The Heartland Institute, discusses Heartland's 12th International Conference on Climate Change.

With Donald Trump, a climate realists, now in the oval office who recognizes the high costs and limited benefits of the Obama administration's climate initiatives, this conference will provide the administration and the new Congress the information it needs to make informed decisions on climate and energy policy. The speakers will show fossil fuels are not evil, but rather critical to continued economic growth in the United States and worldwide. In addition, it will examine the role nature plays in climate change, and the extent to which these changes will cause harm to and produce benefits for humanity.
