Lesli Allison: Western Landowners Alliance

August 24, 2017

The WLA is unique in that it realizes the polarization between rural and urban residents is not serving the public interest.

In this edition of The Heartland Daily Podcast, Lesli Allison of the Western Landowners Alliance sits down with research fellow Isaac Orr to discuss some of the issues affecting landowners in the Western United States. Among the topics discussed are water restoration projects and water rights in the west, the Endangered Species Act, and the Waters of the United States rules.

The WLA is unique in that it realizes the polarization between rural and urban residents is not serving the public interest. Acknowledging this fact is the first step toward having more productive conversations about the best way to improve western ecosystems and western economies.
