Heartland Institute co-founder Joe Bast discusses The Heartland Institute's history, it's accomplishments and what it hopes to achieve under new leadership.

Joseph Bast, co-founder of The Heartland Institute, takes us through the founding and evolution of the Heartland Institute as the foremost think tank addressing myriad state policy issues and providing the bridge between state and federal issues. In addition, Joe describes how and why The Heartland Institute took a leadership role in addressing climate science. Joe also discusses Heartland’s new President, Tim Huelskamp, Ph.D., and what he thinks Heartland will be able to accomplish under Tim's leadership going forward.
