Bette Grande speaks with Tim Huelskamp, president of The Heartland Institute, on fixing health care in 2018.

​Tim Huelskamp, former congressman and current president of The Heartland Institute, joins Bette Grande to talk about the current political climate.  Huelskamp touches numerous topics, including Medicaid reform, Obamacare, and a consumer driven health care system.  Huelskamp goes into how The Heartland Institute is fighting to restore consumer rights in health care.

Grande and Huelskamp discuss how the current entitlement system incentivizes people to not work. They speak about how adding work or education requirements to Medicaid will help pull people out of poverty and restore the idea of the American dream.
