Who’s Paid: Bureaucrats or Teachers?

May 16, 2018

Teachers across the country are striking for higher pay. The problem is that the ever-expanding bureaucracy is siphoning money that could go to these educators.

In this episode of the Heartland Daily Podcast, Chris Talgo, editorial assistant at Heartland and Lennie Jarratt, project manager for the Center for Transforming Education join Andy Singer to discuss teachers’ strikes across the country. Jarratt and Talgo explain how the teachers are striking for the wrong reasons. An ever-expanding bureaucracy is siphoning money that could go towards these educators.
