Will COVID-19 Ever End? (Guest: Joel Hirschhorn)

January 11, 2022

Is there truly a COVID surge, or has the availability of low-cost and even free rapid tests led to asymptomatic testing that remains unnecessary?

There were high hopes that 2022 would be the beginning of the end of COVID-19. The end of 2021 put that hope to rest. Joel Hirschhorn, is the author of one of the first books on the pandemic, Pandemic Blunder.

Hirschhorn was one of the first to write about the government’s ill-advised policies in trying to contain the virus, the lockdowns, the masks, and efforts to block early treatments using existing drugs. Hirschhorn now continues that work in his Substack, Pandemic Blunder Newsletter, which is free to the public.

Hirschhorn discusses what impact the availability of low-cost and even free rapid tests has had on “the surge.” Hirschhorn says the American public is getting COVID weary and that there such a thing as “mass formation hypnosis,” in which the public demands more government protection despite evidence that government measures aren’t working.
