Heartland Institute Senior Fellow and Director Steve Milloy, the founder of JunkScience.com, was on Fox News @ Night the other day to talk about the Biden-caused energy crisis. Milloy, who was part of President Trump's EPA transition team, pointed out that EVERYTHING the Biden administration has done so far has made energy prices — including at the pump — go higher. Why? In tribute to its "hoax of a climate agenda." Milloy also points out exactly how the Biden administration has been lying about the Keystone XL pipeline. The Biden administration has also, in violation of a court order, has put a hold on new federal and oil gas leases.

The answer is yes. As the national average price of gasoline hits an all time high this week, the Climate Change Roundtable crew at The Heartland Institute talk about how the Biden administration's energy policies are chiefly responsible for the pain you feel at the pump. This clip is from the most-recent episode of the Climate Change Roundtable, a weekly show that airs every Friday at noon CT. A company's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) score is given based on how compliant this company is to a set of criteria determined by the evaluating body. The environmental score includes variables including CO2 emissions, product carbon footprint, water sourcing, and raw material sourcing. The Climate Change Roundtable team explains their significance. Subscribe and "hit the bell" to catch every live episode of Climate Change Roundtable Friday at 12pm CT. Heartland Institute Senior Fellow and Director Steve Milloy, the founder of Junkscience.com, was on Fox News Channel's Ingraham Angle on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 to talk about the folly of the electric vehicle (EV) push. It's about controlling you, not saving the planet, Milloy said. The internal combustion engine, which allows you to fill up your gas tank and drive 400 miles in any direction, is an instrument of freedom. The EV is an instrument of control -- and if you don't think the government isn't figuring out a way to gain the ability to turn off your EV remotely, you are not paying attention. Milloy also points out that all the transition to EVs will do is make us more dependent on China. That's where all the materials for the "green energy revolution" comes from. Steve also has fun talking about ditching beef for bugs, something the New York Times is pushing. "They are crazy." The Biden administration's policies against inexpensive, reliable energy is proving to be a massive burden for Americans across the country. Costs are skyrocketing for electricity, gasoline, and consumer goods. Andy Singer, Linnea Lueken, Anthony Watts, and H. Sterling Burnett reveal how much prices have increased in overall electricity, industrial electricity, home heating oil, industrial oil, natural gas, and gasoline.

The climate change debate is not a fair fight. Authoritarianism reigns throughout the alarmist side, often silencing climate realists before they have a chance to speak. Andy Singer, Linnea Lueken, Anthony Watts, and Sterling Burnett discuss how climate alarmism is dominated by authoritarian voices on this week's Climate Change Roundtable.

James Taylor, president of The Heartland Institute, and Linnea Lueken, research fellow for The Heartland Institute, give testimony in Pennsylvania regarding the mining of rare Earth elements. Construction of renewable energy sources including wind and solar require rare Earth elements. When we push policies advancing renewables, we subsequently are creating greater demand for rare Earth elements. Rare Earth elements are also critical to the United States military. China controls much of the global supply of rare Earth elements. Thus, our reliance on China is only growing as we push ill-advised policies. James and Linnea's testimony covered the economic impacts, and legislative feasibility, of beginning new domestic rare Earth element mining operations.
