Jason Bedrick of the Cato Institute explains how your tax dollars can be better used to educate your children and grandchildren. Bedrick discusses the use of vouchers, education savings accounts, and other funding options to educate those who will be the future of this country. Bedrick is a policy analyst at the Cato Institute's Center for Educational Freedom. He earned his master’s degree in public policy, with a focus on education policy, from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. His thesis, “Choosing to Learn,” assessed the scholarship tax credit programs operating in eight states, including their impact of student performance, fiscal impact, program design, and popularity.
