Government as “Nanny” for all of us to obey is the planned endgame of both national and global elites. Today’s elites are elected and unelected government officials of all levels paid by tax dollars and aided by wealthy private individuals and corporations with compatible goals. “Nanny,” of course, is a nicety for “authority.”
How is this plan to be executed? Fortuitously for Nanny-authorities, Covid-19 has provided a convenient “emergency” to force children (the entire populace) into following rules set by them. Think how their “necessity” services and lockdown edicts have already changed behavioral patterns for millions of individuals.
“Stimulus” bailouts get people used to receiving government-supplied money, replacing the personal satisfaction of producing and enjoying the fruits from one’s own labor. Working from home gets people used to being confined and able to venture out only for what authorities deem “essential,” thus acclimating everyone to controlled physical mobility.
“Virtual” exchanges with teachers, doctors, friends, and family get people used to relinquishing or never learning person-to-person socialization skills. Bans on religious gatherings get people used to absence of mutually inspiring spiritual experiences. Assemblage restrictions get people used to lack of companionable camaraderie. Controlled health access, testing, and quarantines get people used to turning their bodies over to government regulations.
Periodic shortages of food and household goods get people used to uncertainties in obtaining domestic provisions. Politically correct education and media get people used to relinquishing or never learning to reason and reach independent opinions. Group-oriented discrimination rules get people used to relinquishing or never learning to judge individual merit.
Technology gets people used to dependence on devices easily controlled by authorities. Diversity politics gets people used to forgetting traditionally shared cultural values like professional proficiency and personal responsibility.
Following are quotes from George Orwell’s (nom de plume for Englishman Eric Blair) prescient 1949 novel of warning — titled “1984” — to ponder during these ominous times. The quotes are especially significant in light of today’s Politically Correct dictates, media manipulations, climate-change fear-stoking, and the multitude of dedicated “progressives” who stroll and control our national/state/local corridors of power and/or consort with the likeminded of other countries toward a common goal of global tyranny.

“Now I will tell you. . . The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness; only power, pure power. . . . We are different from all the oligarchies of the past in that we know what we are doing. The take-away from all this? The “irrelevant” must become relevant. It’s too late for top-down reform. Although oppressive politics is merely the surface symptom of a deep culture malaise — abandoning or abolishing self-determination–politics has become the combat zone.
Power-lustful elites high and low know this, so “Cancel Culture” will be waged politically. Local politics, schools, and houses of worship are where “relevant” battles must begin.
Tiny tyrannies are small but plenteous foundational building blocks for helping bigger elites attain global power. Along with NGOs — the UN’s non-governmental organizations — Barack Obama’s Organizing for Action foundation (merged with the National Democratic Redistricting Committee) is sending thousands of trained activists out every day to “help” communities become “progressive” outposts for nationwide conformity and ultimate global authoritarianism . . . very Big Nannies:
