On January 16, Colorado Rep. Patrick Neville (R-Castle Rock) introduced Child Safety Account legislation (HB19-1112), an idea fostered by The Heartland Institute. This legislation would provide state education funds to students who are victims of violence in school to be used for safer education environments and opportunities.
