Imagine police seize your money, your car, even your house. Imagine this happens without you being convicted of a crime or even charged with one. Imagine being told you must sue to get your property back and prove you did nothing wrong while the government must prove . . . nothing. This happens thousands of times a year in states across the country. But it will soon happen less often in Minnesota.
