Locking Up Life-Saving Drugs

In this Reason article, the author asserts that prescription laws are harmful to the community and patients.  They end up making us sicker, and poorer.  Lifesaving drugs trickle into pharmacies slowly.  Part of the reson for that is the policies enacted by the FDA.  Drugs need to not only get to patients who need them quicker, but they should hit the over-the-counter market faster as well.
