Global Warming Policy Foundation IPCC Observed and projected global ocean heat uptake retraction request

Because the IPCC's recent claim the oceans were warming much faster than previously estimated were based upon two flawed studies, that claim should be retracted.

The Intergovernmental Panels on Climate Change's (IPCC) recent Special Report on the Ocean and Cryosphere in a Changing Climate, made the alarming claim the organization  had high confidence the upper oceans had warmed significantly more than measured and previously estimated. These claims were based on two studies, one which didn't actually cover the period in question, and the second that was based on a study that had to be withdraws by the journal Nature when its statistical estimates were found to be fatally flawed. As such, the Global Warming Policy Foundation has issued a  letter requesting IPCC retract its report.
