The 2014 revisions of the farm bill shifted payouts from crop loses to price loses. This study finds there was a large positive association between legislators receiving farm and environmental group political action committee campaign contributions and those who voted for the 2014 revisions of the farm bill that expanded payouts to large corporate farm for price losses.
