Modernizing Environmental Reviews under the National Environmental Policy Act

The Trump administration implemented revisions to the National Environmental Policy Act that should make the environmental review process easier to comply with and more transparent, expediting reviews.

The Trump administrations revisions to NEPA Regulations from the White House Council on Environmental Quality will benefit the environment  by improving clarity and transparency, while focusing on direct, cognizable environmental harms. They will benefit the economy by expediting approvals or denials and providing finality in decisions.
