This study explodes several myths surrounding solar power, including roof-top solar is cost-effective; roof-top solar better allows utilities to manage their peak loads and residential solar has achieved "grid parity," in many parts of the United States.

This study explodes several myths surrounding solar power, including roof-top solar is cost-effective; roof-top solar better allows utilities to manage their peak loads and residential solar has achieved "grid parity," in many parts of the United States.

This study shows that without large subsidies, solar still fails to make economic sense and in fact creates problems for utilities trying to manage the electric grid.
